So often we don’t realize our healing is just Words away. Gods Word is not only His promised Word, it is His wisdom. It is Him, and it is full of His power.
Hebrews 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. God’s Word is not an ordinary Word, but it is alive and full of power! It is operative, energizing, effective, and sharper than any two edged sword! Wow, the Word analyzes exposes and even judges the very thoughts and purposes of the heart! It penetrates to the dividing line of the breath of life and spirit! God’s Word speaks and is alive and full of power and will do, will accomplish what it is set out to do—it will not return void.
Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. AMPC
That means everything God said, has to be. His Word cannot return to Him without effect. Just like the rain and the snow water the earth, the Word, God’s Word will generate that which it was sent to do.
That means God’s Word is flourishing, prosperous, and full of power just waiting for you and I to take it. Agree with it and in that agreement voice it, say it! If you need healing in your body all you have to do is apply the Word to your body. Take it like medicine, speak His Word to your body and that Word will not return void, it will accomplish your healing.
Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. AMPC
If you attend to God’s Word, meaning if you listen to it, concentrate on it; keep focused on it rather than being focused on the sickness in your body. If you consent to the Word, if you agree and submit to the Word, rather than the bad report—if you don’t lose sight of it but keep it at the center of your heart, the Word will be life, healing and health to your flesh.
The Word of God is life, healing and health to your flesh! There is no way around it.
My sister since a small child has had reactions to the sun. She couldn’t go out in the sun without terrible burning, blistering, and itching on her arms and fingers. We always said she was allergic to the sun because of her terrible reactions to it.
A few weeks ago my arms started reacting to the sun, in a similar way. My arms swelled up and itched. I had blisters and burning, it was terrible. I heard the devil tell me I was allergic to the sun and to stay out of the sun. I was sad and listened to him at first, but then I realized I was listening to him, and cooperating with him.
I love summer and love being in the sun, so what better enjoyment would he get than watching me suffer and be sad about having to stay out of the sun. When I realized his plot I spoke the Word! I said I am not allergic to the sun and I started exposing my arms to the sun again. The blisters and itching didn’t cease right away, but they did cease! After I started speaking the Word of God, those Words in agreement with God’s accomplished what they were sent out to do.
If you need healing I would like to encourage you to agree with the Word, speak the Word and then expect it to accomplish what is was sent to do!
Isaiah 53:4 Surely He has borne our grief’s (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
