To Love Him Now—Even Before He Returns

Have you ever wondered what is on the Father's’ mind?  Just sat before Him and asked Him what He was thinking about, or what you could do for Him, rather than what He can do for you?

If you have, then you would know it is you.  You are on His mind.  You and I are on His mind all the time.  He cares about us, His children, His mind is on His children constantly!

God plans and thinks about how He can get His Word to us, His truth, the knowing that He is in love with us and that He wants to help us live the good life He intended for us.

He wants us to know He doesn’t want us to suffer and to try and make it on our own, but that we can rely on Him.  He wants us to know He is there for us in any situation. He wants us to know Him, about Him, and how to live the way He intended for us to live.

Most of all He wants us to believe Him.  Believe that He is in love with us and has good plans for us.

What else is on God’s mind?  He is looking for workers to go and take care of those who are looking for Him. He is looking for those who will take the time to know Him and be a part of who He is and what He is doing now on the earth.  He is looking to and fro throughout the earth for those who will take the time to know Him, to mature in Him, and do His acts of love.

Luke 2:10 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom and curing all kinds of disease and every weakness and infirmity.36 When He saw the throngs, He was moved with pity and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.

God is looking for those who will care about what He cares about.  To go for Him, to love the broken, lay hands on the sick, and cast out demons.

John 14:12 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

Every believer if willing, is called to do the works of the Lord.  Not just some, but every believer!

Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; 18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

It is on God’s mind those who don’t know Him and how He can get His truth to them. Each time I do a teaching I can see He has His children are on His mind, that it is His will, that all shall know Him, that all will hear the Gospel and all would come to repentance.

He never talks about Himself, but His children.

Matthew 24:14 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.

God is preparing for the new heaven and the new earth. He is planning for His return and is looking for those who will prepare the way for Him, to do His work in order that when He returns He will find faith on the earth.

He is compassionate and waits for us.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.

We are the most important thing to God

James 1:18 And it was of His own [free] will that He gave us birth [as sons] by [His] Word of Truth, so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures [a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself]

We are the of utmost importance to God and He has us on His mind all the time, He is preparing for our eternity with Him, to live with Him forever.  That is what is on His mind and He is calling us to prepare as well, to think of Him all the time.  To be apart of what He is about, to love Him now, even before He returns.

Revelation  21:3 Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne and I perceived its distinct words, saying, See! The abode of God is with men, and He will live (encamp, tent) among them; and they shall be His people, and God shall personally be with them and be their God.
