Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. AMPC
Once you make a decision to believe God you will need to put on all of your armor because the enemy is going come and try and steal God, His promises from you.
What you said you believed he will try and get you to compromise by harassing you. He will do everything in his power to get you to take the easy way out and quit. Jesus warned us that as soon as we heard the Word (the good news, God’s promises) Satan would come and steal it—Jesus told us his tactics and how to win (Mark 4:13-25).
James tells us to count it all joy when Satan comes against us because when we get to the place where we are fully developed then we won’t lack anything. As you can see that is the fight then, that we won’t lack anything (James 1:2-5). We’ll be mature in understanding and we will be able to stand. We won’t back down from having faith in God—being the over comers God has called us to be!
Knowing what is going on turns us into over comers, exactly what Satan is working to steal from us God’s wisdom. If Satan can get us to think we are to walk in the dark without understanding that makes standing on God‘s promises too hard, his ploy exactly! Our call is to be easy our burden light, not hard and harsh —but easy. Thus when we have understanding then that burden is light and those promises are easy to obtain!
Proverbs 4:7 The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation). AMPC
Don’t let the enemy steal from you, don’t let Him take the revelation knowledge you need to keep your name in the lambs book of life!
Revelation 3:5 Thus shall he who conquers (is victorious) be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him [as Mine] and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels.
Keep seeking, keep standing, stand firm don’t move (Matthew 7:7)!
