IN the Kingdom of God (if you choose to live there, even here while you are on the earth) things are not as they seem to be, but are subject to change. Things in the Kingdom of God can easily change as you apply the Kingdom of God principles with your faith.
ike when we start calling things into existence, as Jesus taught us to (Mark 11:22-16) — it may seem as though nothing is happening but, don’t give up. It is happening, as you sleep what you said you believed is germinating and it will happen. Just like the fig tree did what Jesus believed it would do when He talked to it— the same will be true for us who believe.
Jesus said so in Mark 4 when He said as you sleep and day and night and you know not how, but when you sow, when you scatter seed— a harvest will show up!
Mark 4:26 And He said, The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed upon the ground,27 And then continues sleeping and rising night and day while the seed sprouts and grows and increases—he knows not how. 28 The earth produces [acting] by itself—first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. 29 But when the grain is ripe and permits, immediately he sends forth [the reapers] and puts in the sickle, because the harvest stands ready. Here is the Message translation.
Mark 4:26-29 Then Jesus said, “God’s kingdom is like seed thrown on a field by a man who then goes to bed and forgets about it. The seed sprouts and grows—he has no idea how it happens. The earth does it all without his help: first a green stem of grass, then a bud, then the ripened grain. When the grain is fully formed, he reaps—harvest time! MSG
I like how this translation says the man who threw seed in a field and then went to bed and forgot about it. It reminds me of what Jesus said to the fig tree and never looked back. He never hesitated in anything He said and did, just forgot about it because He expected the Kingdom of God principles to work.
If we’re sure they will work for us, we too will have that much confidence to do it and then forget it, considering it done! That was Jesus’ faith, He said it and walked away knowing what He said would happen.
We can do the same, I have done it plenty and you probably have as well. We said it, believed it and then forgot about it and suddenly there it was, your seed sprouted! You actually saw what you believed! It may have been something small enough that you didn’t look back or fret about and so it easily sprouted!
So what about the bigger things? Treat them the same as the smaller things because if you do, you won’t look back, you won’t fret about them, and they too will easily spring up!
