God spoke this to me this morning and not knowing what He meant I looked up the meaning of the phrase The Tides Are Changing. Usually, the saying means that things are changing for the better.
That’s when God encouraged me, and I knew He wanted me to encourage you as well. He said as we sow it takes time for that which we sow to be ready to reap, but wait for it. Wait for it because just as the rain comes down to water the earth and does not return void so are His promises, His promises and His way of doing will not fail. His Word that comes from His mouth does not return to Him void, but accomplishes that which He declares!
Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Whatever He promised you —will come to pass if you refuse to quit and give up (Galatians 6:9). As you continue to sow in faith you will see His promises come to pass. There is a tide coming in and even though it has seemed like a long time and the pressure from the enemy is there to tempt you to give up, don’t! The tide is coming in, and on your behalf. Great change is about to happen for those who are sowing in the Kingdom of God.
Do you know what sowing is? It is God’s law of love, it is the greater work Jesus has called us to —and when we sow, when we love which is giving, we will reap if we don’t faint. It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6), without first believing the promise and then sowing towards that promise.
To explain His love, His greater work; If you for example are believing God for what He has called you to do to come to pass, to be able to do it, and you are still working at that old job you don’t like— you haven’t heard Him tell you to move on yet. You are called (if you live in faith, in love) to do your best at that job you are at. Even if you don’t like it, you are called to do even more than is expected of you, you don’t show up late because you don’t want to be there, but you show up early because you are sowing toward that exciting thing God has for you. You do things that need being done without being asked because you are sowing toward in faith, that thing God has promised you. You are living His law of love no matter what your circumstances, because you believe a tide is coming in that will lift you up in the place, to that HIGH place —that dream life He has for you!
Maybe it is loving someone who seems impossible to love, or living somewhere you don’t want to be, whatever it is, you do it because He asked you to do it by faith— loving as He loves.
God has so much going on, things are about to happen as preparing for His return that the very thing He has for you to do —apart from what you are doing, is about to overtake you to the place where it will actually feels like a tide coming in when it happens.
We are all—if we are in faith, in situations that don’t feel so nice and/or even living in circumstance we can’t live in without His grace. Living on the earth in faith is an uncomfortable place to be. To live where there is so much imperfection and so much pressure that comes against us doing the will of God. Just as Jesus lived out HIs faith when He was here —it is defiantly uncomfortable and a place of faith.
There is on the earth so much chaos, that God’s presence is few and far between. But when we press to live in His presence anyway, we are sowing in love —in faith to see the new heaven and the new earth. That sowing will be us being apart of that first tide which will for sure will have an effect on many.
What I believe God is saying to me today is that heaven must happen on the earth to show who God is before His return. That means those of us who are sowing are going to be a great part of the tide coming in. The tide not only over taking us and bringing us to our knees but, the rush of what I believe will be His presence overwhelming us, even before we actually see Him come in the clouds.
All the things we are in lack of or it seems we lack of —but were not because we’re rich in Him, but the things we have put aside for the sake of Him, for the sake of being right with Him, for seeking Him and not things —I believe those things will finally overtake us. His presence and His blessings are going to pour out and overtake those who seek Him and put everything else off!
Deuteronomy 28:10 And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name [and in the presence of] the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.
I believe God said at this time His presence will be so strong in our lives many will be afraid of us.
Jesus is coming and we are to prepare for the new heaven and the new earth, but many of us are stuck on temporary things distracting us from what is most important. What is important is being apart of the first tide, doing the greater thing, preparing the way for Jesus and our eternity with Him.
The first tide, His presence will be so strong it will overtake us, and then the second tide I believe will be His return where He takes us to live with Him in the New Heaven and the New Earth.
So hang on tight, the tide is changing, it is about to come in and you want to be ready! It’s about time for the New Heaven and the New Earth.
Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new sky (heaven) and a new earth, for the former sky and the former earth had passed away (vanished), and there no longer existed any sea. AMPC
