WHERE WILL YOU GO WHEN YOU LEAVE HERE

God said this to me one day. He said, “ Many of My children think they are going to move in with Me someday, but right here and now they don’t have time for Me, they don’t agree with Me or want anything to do with Me, even though— think they want to move in with Me someday.“

What are we thinking? If we don’t take time to sit down with our heavenly Father and have a cup of coffee with Him each day to take the time to find out what He is thinking, to learn of Him, or even be in agreement with Him now— then why in the world do we think we want to (or that we are even welcome to) move in with Him when we leave here?

How silly to think we want to move in with Someone we don’t even know. Right? Would you seriously move in with someone you only met once or twice, an acquaintance? Someone you haven’t taken time for to have even had conversation with enough to know if you agree with that one?

I think I can answer that — I doubt it because I sure wouldn’t. So what makes us think we are moving to heaven when we leave here if we haven’t as He said taken the time to know Him and come in agreement with Him —now?

I think it is because of false teaching or no teaching at all. What about our prideful state of thinking? Isn’t our understanding the right understanding, isn’t that what we think? We know it all? Our opinion is what is right, whether it be right or not? Whether what we think agrees with our Father or not, we’re right, right?

Really, unless you read the Word of God you can’t know God or what is right because He is His Word (John 1:1) and He only knows right. Reading His Word is meeting with Him and meeting with Him will bring us the revelation knowledge of what is right.

Yet— even though many have not ever so much as opened the Word of God, and have absolutely no idea what the Word says, who God is, those very people think they are an authority on God. Because of what? Hearsay. Something they heard someone say about God. One of those things they heard and their flesh liked, so they claimed it as true and based their opinion of God on it. And worse live on that what may be a lie, as their truth.

That’s why we have so many prayer requests going out in a crisis because we don’t know God ourselves and we’re not sure we can trust Him. I am NOT saying it is a bad thing to get prayer agreement, Jesus told us we should. What I am saying is we are so unsure about what God’s will is—that we freak out in a crisis and call everyone we know to pray, as to say will you beg God for me?

Am I right? I believe I am. Should you get offended at me? No. Should you grow up and get past the baby state of NOT knowing God well enough to know what He is going to do, or what He is not going to do? Yes, indeed and take the time to know Him so you can be sure of what He promises will come to pass?

So sure that when you need Him you already know He has it covered, that you don’t freak out because you know He knows and you’re good because He does.

God said this to me when I was in a similar place. He said,” You can’t trust someone you don’t know.” Same as to say to you today only to encourage you not to offend you— If you don’t know Him you can’t bank on your eternity with Him.

Jesus said many on that day will exclaim Lord, Lord thinking they are right with Him, but He said He will say to them, “ I never knew you who practice lawlessness.” If we don’t know Him and live on hearsay we won’t know His law which means we won’t be attentive to it, which means we may miss eternity with Him.

It is our responsibility to know Him. He knocked at the door of our hearts already and is still knocking. Now it is up to you and I to choose Him by getting to know Him and deciding if we will live in agreement with Him or not—here and now. If we reject Him now, then on that day He will have to say I didn’t know you, you rejected Me, we hadn’t communed. Who were you were serving? It wasn’t Me.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].

Jesus is coming, get ready before it’s too late!
