If you decide to sin God can’t do anything for you.
Romans 2:11 For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another].12 All who have sinned without the Law will also perish without [regard to] the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged and condemned by the Law.13 For it is not merely hearing the Law [read] that makes one righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be held guiltless and acquitted and justified. When you know what to do and you don't do it, it is sin and then the result of sin is judgment and condemnation. Most people sin because they think it is okay —normal, or it is too hard not to.
The truth is you have been set free from sin, you don't have to sin anymore if you have asked Jesus to live in you. Then because Jesus lives in you He will empower you to live a separated life, from sin. A life free of bondage which is what sin is —bondage.
Just ask Him to help you, all you have to do is make a decision and He will strengthen you then to resist sin. When you allow sin in your life you will live in condemnation. That is not what God intended for you, but He gives you free choice.
All you have to do is decide and then rely on Him to empower you. In your weakness His grace is all you need, plenty enough for you to overcome!
2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any
danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and
show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that
the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! AMPC
When you decide not to sin and live in agreement with God, blessings will overtake you. God then is able to do more for you than you can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20)! Obedience equals blessings!
