Suddenly we will see Jesus fill the sky, suddenly, He will be here!
Mark 13:36 [Watch, I say] lest He come suddenly and unexpectedly and find you asleep.37 And what I say to you I say to everybody: Watch (give strict attention, be cautious, active, and alert)!
Watch and pray that you won’t be asleep, that you will be ready upon His return!
What Jesus is telling us is that we need to be on the watch for Him. If we are on the watch for Him, we’re going to be ready. We’re not going to have fallen asleep but we be active, we get up everyday looking for those signs, and being sure we are ready.
Ready? Yes ready. Do you remember the five virgins who had to run and get their lamps full at the last minute (Matthew 25: 1-13)? You can relate that picture to yourself. Ask yourself, are you active in doing your assignment, doing all you were instructed to do? Did you even get your assignment? Did you use your gifts and talents to further the Kingdom of God or did you live on the wide path with the unbelievers, just working to make a living, distracted about your needs? Actively worried about what you would eat, drink, and wear instead of living the importance of life?
How do I know your assignment is your responsibility to further the Kingdom of God? Read all of Matthew 25.
The importance of life is living in the Kingdom of God His way being a blessing to others, yet many are living for themselves because they haven’t take the time to be ready for the bridegroom to prepare for their future with God by knowing how the Kingdom of God operates in goodness and kindness, in charity and love.
Many choose to live with God, but they don’t prepare to live with Him. As we prepare to live with Him, we will have to agree with His way of doing. If we prepare for the Kingdom of God, for Jesus’ return we will have taken the time to know Him, to know His way of doing in preparation for living with HIm.
Many don’t agree with God’s law of love and forgiveness, many are self-willed and so why would that person want to live with God? Many don’t have time for God or even think He is real, but still they think they want to move into heaven with Him one day.
For others who just needed some big sign, suddenly they will feel that conviction and will be running like the five virgins trying to fill their lamps and running to find those they need to make things right with. Those they took to court, those they robbed, those they have animosity with to make it right.
In that hour I believe conviction will come on the earth and many will be trying to do the things they knew to do and didn’t do them. Suddenly things will convey but it will be too late. Jesus will shut the door and say, I am not acquainted with you.
He won't acknowledge those who disregard His command.
For some it is they are asleep to the distractions Satan controls them with, blind to what is going on around them? Is he controlling you, distracting you, he your god and you don't even know it.
Now is the time to know God, know your enemy and how the Kingdom of God operates!
We should be in constant fellowship with the Father as preparation to live with Him. He is our watch. We should know our enemy, know what he is up to. Be aware of his tactics and binding him, keeping him bond, not letting him loose to roam in our house.
Many who call themselves Christians are on the wide path and not watching, nor praying. They have entered into temptation, fallen asleep and will not be ready upon Jesus’s return.
Suddenly He will be here, but you may be surprised when He declares He doesn't know you because you hadn’t taken time to know Him, to be apart of Him.
Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]
Make sure you don’t disregard His commands! Don’t let the enemy talk you out of what you know in your heart is right!
