Can't See It

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

I just watched a video about a man who had a passion to sing.  He was discouraged and ready to give up when his mom encouraged him one more time.  Because of that one more time, finally he was recognized.  The part about the story that struck me the most was he couldn’t see how talented, how special he was.  We could see it but he couldn’t seem to see how he had touched those of us who were listening.

That’s when, in that moment— the Holy Sprit spoke to me.  He knows exactly what to say at the exact right time.  He told me the same is true for you, you don’t have to try.  When you are in the right place and at the right time —those in need of your gift will be touched.  Don’t give up, pursue your passion and at the right time, in that right place you will touch many for Me.

Then more revelation came.  Just as with this man, and as it was with Paul, Satan sends his messengers to harass us, to get us to give up on our passions.  The reason being —our passions are from God and God has a plan to use our passion to touch those who are in need of our gift—ultimately directing them toward God.

What God gifted you and I to do is a part of His quest to show His people who He is.  In short what God gifted you and I to do will be how He illustrates who He is —in us, attracting attention to His goodness through that gift He put in you and I to touch all—with His love.

Be encouraged, keep moving toward that passion God put on the inside of you, keep seeking Him and one day just as this man, just as Abram, you will get to that place where you will be established in His plan.   God will get you to that right place at the right time where you will be appreciated for that gift that He put on the inside of you!  You will be blessed and you will be a blessing, dispensing good to others, which is what God is about— going about doing good for others!

Genesis 12 Now [in Haran] the Lord said to Abram, Go for yourself [for your own advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your father’s house, to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].
